Longridge Does Christmas

Another great night saw thousands of Local people and families coming into the town to celebrate the traditional Longridge Does Christmas celebrations. Music, singing and food and drink aplenty helped the celebrations go with a swing.

Our resilient and brilliant traders and shop keepers opened their doors to shoppers and to Elf Hunters and a great time was had by all. Santa set up his grotto in Townley gardens and had queues of children lining up to chat to him and get an early Christmas present - it was great to see this lovely green space being used for the good of everyone.

Artisan stalls were also set up in Townley Gardens, as well as outside the Old Station Café and further up Berry Lane, there was live music from Elton, Robbie Williams and MeatLoaf - much credit goes to many volunteers who gave up their time to make sure the event went with such a bang
